Thanks to Jackie to support the team and drive us to the venue.
Most of our best British lifters gain their experience through the British Development Cup and the London Youth Games. These youngsters are the champions of the future for the country and need just as much care and attention as our senior lifters. The competition manager, Ed Halstead, did an outstanding job on his own with contribution from the Tiler family promoting BWL by selling their products. It would be great to see some other BWL senior members supporting the up and coming athletes at these events. Although they are only children they are fully aware of the importance the BWL has to play in British Weightlifting and would elevate the experience for them!”
